Engineer: Process Engineering in Full-Time or Part-Time

What are your tasks?
  • As a process engineer (m/f/d), you accompany our projects from the feasibility analysis to concept studies and also further within the framework of basic and detailed engineering packages through to possible commissioning.
  • You are one of the key people when it comes to determining and passing on information that enables other departments to carry out their tasks.
  • Both the common professional tools in process simulation and self-created calculation programs support you in this.
  • You plan and develop process engineering systems (studies, basic and detailed engineering) and develop system concepts.
  • Together with another experts, you actively support our projects in the field of process engineering in the planning of chemical and petrochemical industrial plants.
  • In addition to creating energy and mass balances, you also carry out optimizations of process engineering processes.
  • You deal with the process engineering design and process engineering specification of equipment.
  • Your main tasks include the creation and adaptation of process and P&I flow charts as well as initial ideas for the installation and arrangement of main equipment.
  • You take part in safety assessments (HAZOP, PAAG) and also deal with the design of safety valves and blow-off/flare systems. You work actively with the management team at your location.

What do we expect from you?
  • You have completed a degree in process engineering or chemical engineering (or similar).
  • If possible, you already have practical experience in planning and implementing process engineering planning; if not, this is not an exclusion criterion.
  • Your quality standards are a guideline for your team and our customers.
  • You have knowledge of process simulation (e.g. ASPEN-HYSYS/ InvensysPro-II/ ChemCAD) or are willing to learn it.
  • You impress with your communication skills and have very good written and spoken German and English.
  • You work in a structured manner and have good analytical skills, are service-oriented and have great empathy when dealing with different customers.
