Senior Engineer in Construction / Steel Construction Technology

As a team member, you will take on the:

• Structural planning.
• Coordination and implementation in the industrial and commercial environment, both in plant engineering and in general engineering and building construction in all performance phases.
• You work in close cooperation with the other specialist trades and design the right structure for technical systems.
• In your work environment, you orchestrate our software systems for construction planning, such as TEKLA, Revit, Dlubal, FriLo and others in the intelligent digital environment.
• You design all types of construction for industrial plant construction according to the plant planning specifications.
• You create and maintain structural parts of the 3D CAD model planning.
• You create tasks for the construction planning partner including all necessary information (drafts, load information, general conditions, etc.).
• You coordinate the collaboration with the customer, the construction planning partner and the assembly companies.
• You check construction / steel construction planning documents as well as building applications, specifications and quantity structures.
• You coordinate the structural engineers and ensure that requirements are implemented.
• You procure engineering and assembly services in the field of construction / steel construction.
• You help to process the technical part of overall project offers.
• You coordinate interfaces to the other trades and departments.
• You take on the role of specialist construction manager in the senior construction management team on project construction sites.

• You have a degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You have solid practical experience and basic specialist knowledge in the field of construction / steel construction in national and international plant construction projects (chemicals / petrochemicals / refinery).
• Your knowledge of the software systems for 3D CAD model planning (mainly SmartPlant 3D, PDS and PDMS) is secure and ready for use.
• You have an independent, structured way of working and a confident demeanor.
  You are team-oriented, communicative and assertive.
• You have a good knowledge of English and German.
• We welcome the mastery of another foreign language (French, Arabic, etc.).
