Engineer: Piping & Pipeline Engineering in Full-Time or Part-Time

What are your tasks?
  • As a pipeline engineer (m/f/d), you will oversee the planning and construction of pipelines from routing to the construction site – as built.
  • If your experience allows it, we will also employ you as a lead/senior engineer (m/f/d) in the project team.
  • Creating pipeline studies and integration concepts in the preliminary project phases as well as developing pipeline routes in 3D system models are your core business.
  • You will take on 3D pipeline planning, including support planning, insulation, etc.
  • Coordination with other specialist trades (construction/steel construction technology, mechanical/equipment technology, process engineering, electrical/MSR technology) is part of your daily business.
  • You create isometrics and material extracts.
  • You are deployed on construction sites as part of on-site recordings and/or as a specialist construction manager.
  • You can imagine working on service lists and specifications for the procurement of supplies and services.
  • You will work on service descriptions and hourly calculations for our customer offers.
  • You will present the planning results to customers independently using the planning model in the model review.

What do we expect from you?
  • You have completed a university degree or are a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in one of the fields of plant planning, design engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable.
  • You can report on your professional experience in plant planning.
  • You have knowledge of pipe planning / piping technology.
    You can demonstrate 3D-CAE knowledge in Intergraph Smart 3D and/or AVEVA E3D, NavisWorks, or similar.
  • We would like experience in project management in plant construction across all project phases in chemicals, petrochemicals and refinery technology.
  • Your independent, structured way of working makes you a team player.
  • You speak German or English, and other foreign languages are welcome.
