Engineer: Project Controlling in Full-Time or Part-Time

• You are responsible for scheduling and project controlling, including progress reporting for our projects, and you actively support our team in the area of project management.
• You play a key role in preparing relevant technical information and associated data from the specialist departments and communicating it to our project management.
• You create phase-related schedules and update them regularly using Primavera P6 or other relevant System.
• You ensure reporting for the schedules (levels 1 to 4) and project progress.
• You draw up and maintain plans for engineering, purchasing and assembly/commissioning activities according to the deadlines specified in the contract in coordination with the project manager, engineering manager and lead engineers.
• You coordinate work packages with cost controlling in accordance with project-specific requirements.
• You advise the project management on earned value and KPIs after a thorough analysis.
• You create histograms and S-curves and are responsible for comparing the planned values with the actual values and forecasts in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• You work with other specialist departments and are responsible for internal reporting to the project management and for preparing the external report for our client.
• After an onboarding period, you will independently take over scheduling and project controlling for projects.

• You have preferably successfully completed a degree in industrial engineering or business administration or in an engineering field. During your several years of professional experience, ideally in the chemical, petrochemical or plant engineering sectors, you have ideally already gained experience as a scheduler/project controller.
• You are used to working independently and in a structured manner and have a confident demeanor. You are a confident user of MS Office.
• You have a high level of interest and motivation to familiarize yourself with the area of scheduling/project controlling and to develop further.
• You are an absolute team player and show a high level of commitment.
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• We would be happy if you had knowledge of other foreign languages.
