Senior Engineer – Layout in Full-Time or Part-Time

What are your tasks?
  • You accompany the planning and construction of process engineering systems from the layout study to the completion of the system on the construction site.
  • You organize and are responsible for the successful completion of all projects in your area of responsibility from the offer to the successful acceptance.
  • In detail, this includes the following key areas of activity: You are responsible for the design, the elaboration, the 3D CAD model development and the maintenance of the installation and site plans including the necessary detailed studies based on process engineering and safety-related specifications.
  • You analyze technical problems and develop suitable solution proposals.
  • You take over the interface management between the specialist trades, in particular construction technology, machine / equipment technology and piping technology.
  • You process service lists and specifications for the procurement of deliveries and services.
  • You coordinate the technical planning and processing in all project phases and lead the project team assigned to you.
  • You control the layout planning on our construction sites.
  • You present the planning results to the customer using the 3D CAD model and the planning documents.
  • You are responsible for compliance with the specified deadlines and budgets.
  • You regularly carry out quality and efficiency checks in the project and initiate corrective measures if necessary.

What do we expect from you?
  • You have preferably successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or an engineering-related field.
  • During your several years of professional experience, ideally in the chemical, petrochemical or plant engineering sectors, you have already gained experience in plant and piping planning, in particular in the processing of installation and piping concepts as well as in cross-trade technical coordination.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of all project phases, preferably in chemical, petrochemical and refinery plant construction.
  • You are familiar with the structural execution principles of plant planning, with the basics of piping planning and with the range of devices, machines and other equipment customary in the industry.
  • You are familiar with the specific 3D CAD software systems (S3D, E3D desirable).
  • You are a confident user of MS Office. You are used to working independently and in a structured manner and have a confident demeanor.
  • You are an absolute team player and show a high level of commitment.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
    We would be happy if you had knowledge of other foreign languages.
