What are your tasks?
  • As a technical buyer, you will be responsible for leading award negotiations and developing project-related delivery and service conditions, including packaging and shipping regulations, in coordination with the project manager and contract sales representative.
  • You will benefit from a commitment to meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Obtaining offers at the request of sales, project managers or project managers based on specifications, drawings, data sheets, tenders, quality management issues, SGU issues and more.
  • Commercial offer comparisons, order placement and, if necessary, the organization of bulk orders Constant monitoring of the required delivery dates.
  • Contract conclusions for orders, in coordination with the project manager and contract sales representative.
  • Organization of interim and final acceptances or progress reports at the supplier according to project requirements.
  • Provision of agreed technical and commercial documentation.

What do we expect from you?
  • You have completed a university degree or are a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in one of the fields of plant planning, design engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable.
  • You can report on your professional experience in plant planning.
  • You have knowledge of pipe planning / piping technology.
    You can demonstrate 3D-CAE knowledge in Intergraph Smart 3D and/or AVEVA E3D, NavisWorks, or similar.
  • We would like experience in project management in plant construction across all project phases in chemicals, petrochemicals and refinery technology.
  • Your independent, structured way of working makes you a team player.
  • You speak German or English, and other foreign languages are welcome.
